Grumbly Arms

Monday mornings are really the only slightly lazy morning at our house.
Technically, Mondays are Eli's day off from work.
So, he gets to sleep in a bit,
and I don't have to be at the gym to teach until 9 a.m.
There's no preschool, no Bible studies, no Tirzah, etc.
So we kind of laze around ...
sometimes make pancakes - you get the idea!

This morning,
Jonah and Eli were sitting together on the couch.
I came in from the kitchen and joined them.
Jonah was being silly,
trying to "trick" us by reaching his hands around and under us.
Not sure exactly what game he thought he was playing!

"Is this your back?"
"Is this your arm, Daddy?"
"Is this your back, Mommy"

He was trying to guess what he could tickle.

He got Eli's arm.
Eli asked him, "Do you think that's Mommy's arm you're touching?"

"No" came the assured reply.
Jonah touched my arm: "Mommy's arms are smooth.
Yours (Daddy's) are grumbly".
